As of August, 2011 more than 25% of new domains are powered by WordPress, and over 15% of the entire web to boot. WordPress is backed by a huge community of volunteer programmers, and as such, has several upgrade releases each year. For most small businesses, this can become overwhelming…so they just let the software become outdated which is a major security risk.
